MrBeast, the largest YouTuber on Earth, is known for pushing ideas to the extreme. When launching his chocolate brand Feastables, the question quickly became: how far can a chocolate bar go?
The answer: almost to space.
As part of a spectacular marketing stunt, MrBeast and his team partnered with us to send a Feastables chocolate bar on a stratospheric balloon flight, bringing it closer to orbit than any chocolate before. The campaign was timed with the release of the new Super Mario movie, making the concept even more fitting: a playful journey beyond the limits of our planet.
The launch took place in North Carolina, where we worked together with MrBeast and his team to prepare the mission. Attached to a specially designed high-altitude weather balloon, the chocolate bar began its ascent high above the Earth.
During the multi-hour flight through the stratosphere, our camera probe captured spectacular footage. As the balloon drifted far above the Atlantic Ocean, the cameras recorded breathtaking views of the curvature of Earth, the deep black of space, and the tiny Feastables bar floating at the edge of space.
Of course, no MrBeast project would be complete without a final challenge. After the successful recovery of the payload, MrBeast personally performed the ultimate taste test — confirming whether the new Feastables chocolate bar truly tastes “out of this world.”
