For us, this project was more than just a job – it was one of those rare moments where technology meets childhood imagination. Together with LEGOLAND Florida Resort and LEGOLAND California Resort, we didn’t just showcase the new Galacticoaster – we quite literally made it take off. A LEGO spaceship leaving Earth and rising toward the stratosphere – exactly the kind of idea you would have built as a kid, only this time for real. Instead of a traditional setup, we sent a LEGO spaceship model and a display into the stratosphere using a weather balloon – to a place where the fantasy of space and adventure suddenly feels real. No simulation, no CGI – just real footage and real moments.

From developing our custom camera probe to integrating and securing the models, as well as planning, launching, and recovering the flight, everything was handled by our team. We also took care of the entire film production, from shooting to final edit. Every step was designed to capture that unique mix of technology, creativity, and curiosity that LEGO stands for worldwide.

The result is footage that not only looks stunning but also captures the feeling LEGO has always inspired: curiosity, exploration, and the idea that anything is possible. Bringing the Galacticoaster – a new indoor roller coaster at LEGOLAND Florida Resort featuring launch elements, spinning movements, and interactive features – into such a setting even before the first ride makes the story come to life in a completely new way.
