How to register your weather balloon in Croatia

The first step is to apply for the flight permission issued by Croatia Control Ltd., at least seven days before the flight. In reality, it is needed to apply much earlier because of the second step, which is request for the permission to the Croatian Civil Aviation Agency. In the request form to the CCAA is required to attach permission from the air traffic control (Croatia Control Ltd.). You need to apply to the CCAA at least seven days before the flight just like to the air traffic control, so it is not possible to satisfy both requests within seven days. And the third step is to obtain aviation liability insurance so that personal injury and property damage are covered.

Here are two required registration forms attached so you don’t need to search for them. Both forms are bilingual Croatian/English. Please note that you need to define many details within form for the Croatia Control Ltd. so read it carefully and prepare yourself much earlier before sending the request to them.
