Description
To fill your weather balloon with helium/balloon gas, in addition to the gas from the cylinder from your local gas supplier, you will also need a suitable pressure reducer with a hose. If you cannot borrow a pressure reducer for helium gas cylinders, we offer suitable cylinder pressure reducers including a two-meter hose for standard cylinders with a maximum inlet pressure of 200 bar. The pressure reducer, along with the pre-assembled hose, is simply screwed onto the gas cylinder. The cylinder pressure reducer then reduces the pressure from 200 bar, allowing you to fill your weather balloon with the exact amount needed, calculated using our helium calculator, via the pre-assembled hose from the cylinder pressure reducer. Filling the weather balloon takes about 10-20 minutes, depending on the required amount.
